Labels

Today i spent 50 minutes cutting and gluing fashion labels from a magazine onto a piece of paper for a art project. But doing this made me think about labels not the flimsy material ones you get on clothes or the logos printed all over the place for advertisements.  The labels that are given to people.

The second you walk into that big room on your first day of high school the people who don't know you immediately try to work you out but before they get a closer look they  brand you. There's the girls the ones wearing more make up and less clothes Slags, The quiet shy ones with plain clothes and have their noses stuck into books Geeks, The ones with the nice clothes good hair pretty faces and loads of friends are Cool, Then there's the people with the okay groups that drift in and out of the other groups.

Then with boys there's the popular ones who all move around in packs, The geeks and gay boys, and the middle ones the drifters.

These labels stick with you and even when you make more friends your label gets a dent in it

but the original thoughts are still there but once you progress show you true self your label changes and most people become drifter moving in and out but when they have their own groups they're happy enough and are left alone

The start off  process is not fair to anyone i know its said time and time again but don't judge a book by its cover.
